* Join us at the Visitor Centre at 10:30am for an introduction to the Cypress Hills... featuring a video production created for the 'Great Canadian Parks' television series, as seen on the Discovery Channel.

SATURDAYS:

"The Cypress Hills:
A Great Canadian Park"
10:30am; 45 minutes

"Night Visions"
Dusk; 2 hours

* Looking for some night life in Elkwater?
Drop by the East Day Use Area (near Elkwater Lake Lodge) for an evening of star gazing, constellation legends and learning about the Cypress Hills Dark Sky Preserve!
Bring warm clothes, blankets, snacks and binoculars if you have them. *Program is weather dependent*

SUNDAYS

"The Colours of the Cypress Hills, Autumn Walk"
10:30am; 2 hours

* Meet Nic at the Elkwater Landing to begin your journey through the hills... past, present & future. Using GPS we will ascend Old Baldy, explore autumn forests and experience the Elkwater lakeshore... meeting many "unique" characters along the way!

Please wear proper footwear and bring water, a trail snack (if you like) and binoculars (if you have them). *Moderate difficulty*

Fort Walsh National Historic Site of Canada is closed. It will re-open on May 19, 2007.
