Elkwater Lake provides great opportunities for water sports enthusiasts and is the largest body of water in the park at 4km long. The Park allows all boats including motor boats, wind surfers, sailing boats, jet skis, paddle boats and canoes etc. The Marina, situated at the main beach area, has boat stalls for rent and a boat launch. Water skiers are encouraged to launch from the West End Day Use 1.5km from the main marina.
The main beach area has a designated swimming area, playground and bathroom/change facilities and is close to the Visitor Centre and main campgrounds. Further beaches can be found along the lake front at West End Day Use. The "Kids Don't Float" Life Jacket loaner station is located at boat launch next to the Marina.
Swimming is not recommended in Reesor Lake or Spruce Coulee. Electric motorboats (No gas powered motors) are permitted on Reesor Lake however only non-motorized watercrafts are permitted on Spruce Coulee.
Please note that beaches are un-supervised and pets are not permitted in swimming areas or on beaches.
