What to Do
Trans Canada Trail
The Trans Canada Trail is a shared-use trail system that extends from one side of Canada to the other. The Cypress Hills portion of the Trans Canada Trail runs through both the Saskatchewan and Alberta side of the Park.
Trailheads for this segment can be accesssed at Highway 21 near the entrance to the Centre Block, CHIP (SK), and at the Firerock Picnic Site near Elkwater in CHIP (AB). Another convenient starting point is at Fort Walsh, where the trail heads up Battle Creek.
